With the assistance of the Caribbean Board in London, 1000 copies of the book "P.E. Essentials" by Doug Heate, were presented to the Minister of Education, the Hon Claris Charles MP, by the Resident British Commissioner in Grenada, Mr. Vic Wallis, at the Ministry of Education on 4 March 2005. The Book, which is aimed at secondary school pupils, provides teachers and pupils with a broad range of useful and informative material. The themes of the text are all interrelated, and is divided into sections for study purposes. The Caribbean Board, which provides the British Government with a source of constructive, independent advice to build further relations with the region, drawing on the views of the Caribbean Community in Britain, has kindly funded the supply of these useful books, which is published by Feltham Press in the UK. Vic Wallis, in presenting copies of the book to the Minister, said: " I am aware of the highest priority the Grenada Government, and you personally, Minister, place on the return to normality for the children of Grenada. I am aware also, of the Government's work for the physical well-being and development of Grenada's young people. We have seen success in the international sporting arena that application and dedication has brought to the talented young people of the nation. I hope the material in this book will help further inspire the youth of Grenada to develop their potential."
