Half- Million dollars in New Furniture For Secondary Schools The Ministry of Education has begun the distribution of new school desks and chairs to the Secondary Schools on the island. The furniture was procured by a joint initiative of the World Bank, and the Government of Grenada. The distribution of the new furniture commenced this week, and will continue next week with the arrival of a two more containers. The initiative to supply the schools with new furniture was put in motion to replace old and faulty furniture prior to Hurricane Ivan.
