Grenada’s Prime Minister Dr. The Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell will travel to Trinidad and Tobago on Monday April 4th for talks with Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Hon. Patrick Manning. Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to discuss Grenada’s recovery effort with Prime Minister Manning with a view to securing more aid for Grenada. Prime Minister Mitchell’s talks will focus specifically on securing more housing for the people of Grenada and small business activation aimed at more investment and more jobs for Grenada.

While in Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Mitchell will also be a keynote speaker at the 5th Euromoney/Latin Finance Caribbean Investment Forum. Prime Minister Mitchell will address delegates at the conference on the vulnerability of small states and the Caribbean Single Market and Economy. Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to use Grenada’s Hurricane Ivan experience as an example of vulnerability and the economic challenges created by natural disasters.
